A Werewolf: The Apocalypse LARP

Welcome!

Garou is a live action role-playing game (LARP) set in Bloomington, Indiana. The House Rules and basic world design will come from White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse game. This is a companion game to Living in the Mystery but will center entirely on the Garou, or werewolves.

The Story: Over a year ago, a caern was destroyed in Bloomington, IN and the entire Sept disappeared mysteriously. Very little is known about what happened to the caern, and where the sept members went or whether they still live remains a mystery... Strange rumors have also come from the city of faeries, garou, other changers, even namebreakers and leeches meeting together peacefully, but whether this is true or merely fanciful gossip is hard for an outsider to say...

However, there is a light in the darkest of times, for a long-sleeping caern once defended by the Uktena has reawakened nearby. A call has gone out for defenders to rebuild a new Sept and defend this rare, sacred place...

*Note for those new to LARP: IC stands for In Character and OOC stands for Out of Character.
LARP stands for live action role play. Read the Wikipedia definition here.*

Updates

Game 12: Title: TBA

WHEN: Saturday, February 20, 2010. Check in begins at 1PM, game from 2-7PM

WHERE: Kasi and MJ's house. Directions

WHY-IC: The IC game date will be January 20 - at least at the beginning of game. Word has come that the Eclectic is seeking audience with the Sept and with Brian to convince them to undergo the Blood Debt Rite and help build the Crux. (The Eclectic players will be coming to game on Saturday for this.)

Depending on what happens with that, we have a number of possibilities planned. One is that we will run the rituals and you all we get the chance to earn some serious renown - though there will be the risk of character death. If the majority of the Garou game would be participating, we'll do this, and there will also be stuff for those whose characters would not participate. If the majority of the Garou game would not be participating, we'll run the Crux rite for the Eclectic on Sunday and on Saturday we'll just move on to other plots for our Garou PCs. We have a quite a lot going on either way, and what course we take will be player-driven. I wish we could give you all a more solid plan, but that would require we dictate more to you than we want - much is contingent upon you, the players.

WHY-OOC: Gaming is FUN!!
